There are many ways to get involved in the work of the Rūnanganui. One way is to get involved with the existing work of the subcommittees and help with their workload. This involves attending meetings and hui that are scheduled. The other way is to help the Executive Committee expand its work within the other portfolio areas listed above.
Meetings and hui
The meeting schedule for the Executive Committee is updated every 6 months. Meetings are open to all members of Ngāti Hikairo, and we welcome seeing new faces.
The meeting schedules for the subcommittees are the responsibility of those committees. Contact the chair of each sub-committee for further information.
Elections
Each year the Executive Committee of the Rūnanganui conducts elections at a Hui-a-Tau.
